We’re passionate about family discipleship and children knowing the love of Jesus. Explore below some of the different ways for your family to connect here at SCC.
9.00am Sunday
During our 9am service each Sunday during the school term, our creche and ‘Alive Kids’ program runs for children from 1 years old – grade 6 age. We provide a safe and fun environment for kids to learn, play and build relationships through age-appropriate activities. Kid’s Church is free. Arrive a few minutes early to the service and make your way to our Alive Kids check-in desk in the foyer.
9.00am Sunday
Emerge is for our junior high schoolers (grades 7-9) and runs fortnightly during our 9am Sunday service alongside Kid’s church. Teens can explore issues relevant to their life stage through a biblical lens, helping them navigate their world with a strong, resilient faith. Issues such as social media, peer pressure, temptations, high school difficulties, and moving toward adulthood are all discussed, with a focus on Jesus’ teaching and ways.
6.30Pm Friday
Our weekly youth group, called ‘Alive Youth’ provides space for our high school aged community to explore their purpose and find hope. They hang out on Friday nights to enjoy food, music, activities, and a short youth service, as well connecting in year-level mentor groups, led my a young adult leader.
9.30am – 11.30am Thursday
Join us each week during the school term for our Thursday Playgroup – a time of fun and play for kids and connection for parents. We gather at 9.30am at our enclosed playground and on-site coffee shop before moving to the indoor toy room around 10.30am-11.30am for the remainder of the morning. There is no cost to come along, we would love to see you and your little ones there!
