Ministry Team Leader
Ross Pelling
 
Ross served the church here as Associate Pastor - Pastoral Care/Discipleship previously, and also ministered at a number of other churches across Australia. He is married to Marilyn and has two adult children - James who works and studies in Sydney, and Nicky who is married to Paul and they live in Lismore. A keen Sydney Swans and Canterbury Bulldogs supporter reveal his Sydney origins. He and Marilyn love to travel and Ross is always open to a game of golf. He is curently completeing his Doctor of Ministry studies with a particular focus on holistic discipleship in the post-modern era.


Associate Pastor - Pastoral Care
Bruce Murray

Bruce and his wife Nita joined us from from Hervey Bay in January 2002. Bruce has developed a team of co-ordinators and carers to ensure the care of the church and wider community . He has also introduced a Discipleship program and has been busy developing LIFE Groups in the Church to encourage small group participation. 

 

Associate Pastor - Evangelism & Men's Outreach
Steve Peach

Steve served SCC previously in a role with Youth/Young Adults, but has now returned to lead the church into new areas of outreach and connection with the Gold Coast community. His particular focus and passion is reaching Australian men. His joint role with Jesus Racing is the perfect complement to his role at SCC. Drawing on contemporary experience in outreach through motorsport to over 40,000 men annually Steve is pioneering new forms of church connection. He is married to Belinda and have a daughter Zoe


 
Associate Pastor - Youth & Young Adults
Geoff Snook
 
Geoff has the responsibility of pastoring the youth ministry team and are excited about what God is doing among the young people of the Church.  Geoff was born in Melbourne but spent most of his growing up years in Papua New Guinea as the son of a missionary.  Geoff and his wife Laura are the proud parents of Isaac born in November 2008
 
 
 
 
Associate Pastor - Marriage & Families
Glenn Turner
 
Glenn has been involved in SCC for many years as a layperson and Elder. Through his training and experience as a Counsellor, Glenn now provides fulltime ministry to families/couples and singles that combines his extensive counselling background with pastoral ministry. His passion is building strong marriages which then form the basis for stronger family life. He is married to Alison and they have a young son Jake.
