Interim Ministry Team Leader
Bruce Murray

Bruce and his wife Nita joined us from from Hervey Bay in January 2002. Bruce has developed a team of co-ordinators and carers to ensure the care of the church and wider community . He has also introduced a Discipleship program and has been busy developing LIFE Groups in the Church to encourage small group participation.  Bruce has recently been launching O2 Community in Ormeau.


Associate Pastor - Worship, Music, Creative Arts & Technical Services
Brad Godby
 
Brad has been part of the worship team at Southport Church of Christ for 15 years; in which time he has served as musician, singer, worship leader and ministry coordinator.  He has also been highly involved in special events such as musicals and other special services.  Brad has for some time sensed a call of God on his life to serve Him in full time ministry.  He recently left a full time role as a high school drama teacher.  Brad lives with his wife Kym and their two dogs in Upper Coomera.
 
 

Associate Pastor - Evangelism & Men's Outreach
Steve Peach

Steve served SCC previously in a role with Youth/Young Adults, but has now returned to lead the church into new areas of outreach and connection with the Gold Coast community. His particular focus and passion is reaching Australian men. His joint role with Jesus Racing is the perfect complement to his role at SCC. Drawing on contemporary experience in outreach through motorsport to over 40,000 men annually Steve is pioneering new forms of church connection. He is married to Belinda and have a daughter Zoe

 
 
Associate Pastor - Youth & Young Adults
Geoff Snook
 
Geoff has the responsibility of pastoring and leading our youth and young adults.  Geoff was born in Melbourne but spent most of his growing up years in Papua New Guinea as the son of a missionary.  Geoff and his wife Laura are the proud parents of Isaac, Zara and Lucy.
 
 
 
Associate Pastor - Marriage & Families
Glenn Turner

Glenn has been involved in SCC for many years as a layperson and Elder. Through his training and experience as a Counsellor, Glenn now provides fulltime ministry to families/couples and singles that combines his extensive counselling background with pastoral ministry. His passion is building strong marriages which then form the basis for stronger family life. He is married to Alison and they have a young son Jake.
 
 
Children's Ministry Team Leaders
Bobbie-Sue Djurovitch and Rhonomie Barker

"Bobbie-Sue and Rhonomie-too" are our Children's Ministry Team Leaders.  They have been part of our church for a number of years, and stepped into the team leading role in 2010.  They coordinate the Sunday morning church activities as well has linking with the wider community through childcare, after-school care, and friendships.
Bobbie-Sue is married to David, and they have three children; Julia, Anthony and Angela.
Rhonomie is married to Grant, and they have five children: Kirsty, Daniel, Kiani, Zebadee, Xylus and Qhawaii.

Jan Monument
Psychologist (BSoSc, BPsych (Hons), Assoc MAPS, CCAA)

Jan's particular interest and expertise is working with adults who have experienced multiple losses, resulting in difficulties in coping with life and its stressors.  Grief, bereavement, relationship breakdowns, loss of employment, transition in life roles, agingand trauma are common areas she helps people in.  Jan is married to Craig.
